Businesses that want to expand or locate in Advantage Valley may qualify to receive development assistance in the form of tax credits, lending/financing programs and training grants. This development assistance, which is provided primarily by the state Development Office, can reduce startup and operating costs and provide for enhanced productivity. The West Virginia Development Office also provides research and technical support including competitiveness studies, analysis and a variety of data that will lead to job creation and retention, and to community improvement.
