Virtual Supply Chain EXPO with Constellium - September 15 at 1 pm
Advantage Valley and The Robert C. Byrd Institute (RCBI) will sponsor a virtual expo on September 15 from 1-2 pm to link small suppliers with Constellium. With over 1,100 employees, Constellium’s plant in Ravenswood, West Virginia, is one of the world’s largest rolled products facilities, offering customers the most powerful plate stretchers in the world, as well as one of the largest cold rolling mills. Built in 1957, the plant houses 62 acres of production facilities on a 514-acre site. It is the largest employer in Jackson County, West Virginia and one of the top 50 businesses in West Virginia. Today, the Ravenswood plant produces plate, sheet and coil products for aerospace, defense, transportation, marine, and other industrial uses.
Attendees of the Manufacturing Supply Chain Expo will learn about the processes to become suppliers to Constellium, learn about the expressed needs of the companies, and have an opportunity to submit Request for Qualification forms, hoping to secure virtual one-one-one meetings which will be held on September 22 and 23, from 2-5 pm.
The Supply Chain Expo will run from 1-2 pm via TEAMS teleconference. Preregistration is required. The event is free and open to the public. Register here.
