Zac Edgell is a successful tech entrepreneur and accomplished Salesforce integration engineer. His wealth of experience and certifications in Salesforce and Cyber Security have allowed him to thrive as a new business owner. Recently, Zac’s rapidly expanding business, Edge Connect, received a significant boost from FASTER WV ~ technical assistance funding for marketing. This support has allowed Zac to focus on managing his growing business while maintaining a strong and impressive online image.
In October of 2023, Zac started his small business Edge Connect, which offers Salesforce integration and consulting, enabling companies to streamline their customer relationship management (CRM) processes, enhance efficiency, and drive sales growth. Zac has received valuable resource assistance along his entrepreneurial journey including training through CentralApp, entrepreneurial residency with Vantage Ventures, and most recently marketing assistance through FASTER WV.
Without Zac’s 8 years of experience in development, he wouldn’t have been able to build his business. “Edge Connect came as a result of the struggle I’ve faced in previous companies. A process that should’ve been automatic was taking weeks at a time. I figured there must be a better way,” Zac expressed. It was as at his previous employer that he realized this glaring inefficiency hampered productivity and sparked much frustration among his fellow developers. Driven by a vision to streamline and optimize these processes, Zac made the bold move to quit his Senior Software Developer position at a notable fintech company to start EdgeConnect.
