Kauffman FastTrac® was launched by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and carries out Mr. Kauffman’s belief that everyone has a fundamental right to turn an idea into an economic reality, regardless of who you are or where you’re from, with zero barriers in the way.

What can you expect?

During this three-week program, you will study alongside a group of entrepreneurs, experienced facilitators, and individuals with startup experience who understand the challenges of launching a new business. Each week, you’ll engage with an expert facilitator, gaining deeper insights into business planning and strategy. You will also receive lifetime access to an online FastTrac® Toolkit, which includes business planning templates, action steps, activities, videos, and other valuable resources.

A key feature of this course is the use of LivePlan, an industry-leading business planning software that will guide you through the process of developing a professional and investor-ready business plan. LivePlansimplifies financial projections and business modeling, allowing you to visualize your business growth and make informed decisions with real-time financial tracking.

In Advantage Valley’s FASTER WV facilitator-led, ten-module Kauffman FastTrac® course, you will:

Explore entrepreneurship and develop your business concept.
Identify and research market needs.
Set financial goals and determine start-up costs.
Develop research skills and define the unique features and benefits of your product/service.
Research and analyze the market and prepare a marketing plan.
Create a business image and marketing strategies.
Build your organizational team and understand legal structures.
Plan for profitability by evaluating pricing and revenue potential.
Learn how to monitor cash flow, seek funding, and develop financial forecasts using LivePlan.
Determine and implement the next steps to launch your business and complete your business plan.

By the end of the course, you will:

Have a well-researched, data-driven business plan created with LivePlan.
Develop and refine your entrepreneurial vision into an actionable roadmap.
Gain insights into how to structure, fund, and grow your business successfully.
